With the MobiCall clientapp, each of these devices is able to receive all kind of alarmsand information from one or several MobiCall systems – standaloneor fully redundant through hot stand-by. The MobiCall taskmanagement app allows receiving jobs and launching tasks. Textmessages, images and video streams can be used to provide anaccurate description of a given situation. The images may beattached to any alarm and/or task, allowing the person in charge toanalyse and understand the situation and to take the necessaryaction. The app allows making calls into the internal telephoneswitching network. The user can simply use the device’s phone bookfor internal and external phone calls. Further functions are thebaby phone function, push to talk etc. Features The followingfunctions are supported (more to follow): - Receiving fire alarminformation (“fire alarm in room 1807”). On confirmation, MobiCallinitiates a voice conference allowing fire fighters to coordinatethemselves immediately in large or high-rise buildings and buildingcomplexes. - Receiving nurse calls (“Nurse call room B-1205”) withconfirmation and call-back option to the patient’s bed sideterminal. This allows a nurse to react quickly and inquire aboutthe patient’s concerns. If the requested person is not available,MobiCall calls for assistance independently or in interaction withthe nurse call system. - Receiving alarms from the buildingmanagement system: heating, ventilation, air-conditioning,technics, lift alarms, intrusion and lift alarms, videosurveillance etc. Special concepts allow identification of thestaff before a job/task is accepted/rejected. - Receiving jobs fromthe rapid response or task management system.
